Hi, I've redone my site and would love ANY feedback.
I've included CSS links (which currently look a bt funny in Mozilla (the cells shrink to the text but are fine in Int Explorer)
Still going to deveelop different images for each page in the banner and add more info.

Nice site. One thing I noticed was that your top banner is a sliced image. I'd preload the images using javascript as when I reveiwed your site the banner loaded in a choppy fashion.

Very nice site overall. One thing that caught my attention though is the menu not really fitting in with the rest of the site. I'm not sure why it doesn't fit to me, maybe it's the colors or maybe it's the 'button-like' appearance of the links.

Personally I feel you should put some sort of contact link on the menu so potential customers can more readily get in touch with you. Your phone # and e-mail addy at the very bottom of the page is a little out of the way. I'd also make the contact link pull up a page that, along with your number and e-mail, has a contact/request info form. And you may wish to only have the contact form since posting your e-mail address invites spam.

I don't like the banner image much - it looks like the sort of thing you see on the front of the Watchtower "How can we reach God's kingdom? ...", rather than a technology company. It's also pretty crudely put together, and looks grainy and overcompressed. Maybe you can find a local artist or photographer that can do something better.

Whatever image you use, I don't see the point in carving it up into slices. The only possible advantage - being able to use gifs for the block colour areas to the left and jpgs for the photo bit on the right - is something you're not taking advantage of anyway. Frankly, I wouldn't bother - just make one big image, it won't take any longer to load, but it'll look a lot less choppy.

The menu links are showing up at different lengths on FF - I suspect you'll be able to fix this by making them [tt]display: block;[/tt]. I'm also not sure about the colour scheme - maybe use the blue-green you're using at the left of the banner image for the buttons or the background? It's something you have to juggle with till it looks right - fortunately CSS makes it easy to do.

Hey!! Nice job! I remember some of the older designs and this is MUCH nicer!

The ONLY thing I would recommend, and this is personal opinion, is to give your content--the centered area--a different color than the empty sides. Maybe a few shades lighter and a drop shadow or something. Other than that, way to go!!

Oh wait, yeah, the site banner could use some sharpening. I would go with a single image also instead of slicing it.

Either cheap should have a period following it, or Typically should not be capitalized.

Code:
For example a simple site comprising a home page and one or two other pages with a low level of complexity, can be quite cheap, Typically, this can be achieved for around five hundred dollars.

$100 for a domain name ? aren't they like $15 a year ?

Code:
obtain a "Domain Name" which is simply a unique address for your website so that it can be located by potential visitors; eg "[URL unfurl="true"]www.yourbusinessname.com"[/URL] This will be around a hundred dollars depending on the registrar used.

Thank you very much wonderful people. Felt much more comfortable with new site. Will dump the slices, have fixed the display : block and all the others suggestions. I will stick with funny links for the moment 'cause my dear old dad who has a publishing and non-internet background says he can never find links, but of course everything is negotiable. Yes the image is a little coarse (i didn't think anyone would notice) Will defintely create a contact page using a non pushy form.

Thanks again ! Stephen

While I'm at it, what would be the best (and simplest) method for emailing myself form data from the website. eg a form where potential clients can ask questions and the question is emailed to me. PHP ? Can anyone point to a script ?

cheers Steve

A nice looking site! Just a couple of points.

1. Left hand column is different width on Home from all the other pages in Moz, but all match in IE

2. It took some time to discover that you were in Australia, and your contact phone number is not internationalised

3. Concept meeting suggests face-to-face, If you have that in mind, you may want to clarify what area you cover.
