Hi,

Think i've browsed through this site before!

in IE6, 1024
Front page: i'd center the page, maybe use a light off white background colour and it might be a nice touch to change the background colour on the top navigation links.

Reviews: The top link of the left nav bar should be a different colour IMO, either a different bgcolor or text colour.
Same point applies about changing the background colour of the cells on mouseover, might be a nice effect, and easy to do.

Comparisons: big blank space in the middle LOL

I'd use some sort of minimum height just to push the "Want a mug" thingy to te bottom of the page.

Also, the Norman Knights are missing their spears! That's just not on!!

Great job! Looks very good!

I liked it.
I'm not quite sure what's going on with 'wargamescentral.com'!
The navs pane on the left on all pages bar the home page looks great - I'd put that on the home page to fill in some space. I agree with cian about the mouse over colours
At 1024x768 on a 17" monitor, the text on the homepage is hard to read.
I'd have something at the bottom of the page to tell everyone they have reached it.
Altogether a very nice site.

everything looks good overall
suggestions (if repeated as usuall ignore)

center the pages. in 1024 the right side of the page looks lost with that large white space.

The hover red color on the links looks bad to me. maybe a darker blue or even grey out. something that doesn't clash so much with the light blue.

The whole mug and hat thing at the bottom of the pages looks bad. can't read the image either. I would make it smaller and make it more readable.

things to make it better you may want to look into.
make the list in alphabetical order pagable.
what I mean is A-F causes the page to be quite long. how about a minimum page record count for each page and a next link to go on. not sure how this information is driven though. fairly easy to accomplish with some server side intervention

goo job on this one! _______________________________________________

I instantly liked the site. The layout is attractive and the colors are nice. It felt professional and smooth but simultaneously lighthearted. Two things: 1) I don't like that it's built with frames, especially since they seem to serve no purpose other than hide the URL. I urge you to reconsider this aspect, since frames thwart bookmarking, search engine placement and linking from other sites, to name a few things. 2) Less critical, but the 'hover' color on the navigation links clashes with the blue. Darken it up and it will look better.

Unfortunately the frame is by my service provider. Its because the URL is a cloaked URL to another site that I own. When its time for renewal I think I will sort it all out but at the moment I can't do much about it.

Thanks for the feedback. I will take a look and see what I can do.

Hi,

I changed the text mouse-over colour to a dark blue and it does look a lot better. I am not sure about the button mouse-overs as that requires JavaScript and I am trying to do stuff without it, but I will give it a go and see.

You should probably try to get better resolution photographs/drawings for the homepage. They are rather blurry. Sincerely,
