Site Review / Crit 2

Just finished this site. looking for anybodys opinion. It validates with xhtml 1.0Transitional.

Mainly looking for someone that operates on 1024x768. I previewed the site in 1024 but I operate commonly in 1280 so its hard to tell. I designed it for 1024.

I am still trying to decide what (if anything) to do with the right edge of the header img.

I think the header looks ok... a lot of white (personal opinion) I am more inf avor of white as an accent color as opposed to the main color... Also, (again just my opinion) it could use some more visual structure just kind of has a header and then stuff beneath it... if you gave it some structure you could easily fit the details and home page content on the same page and it would make your page look a little "fuller"

I am curious - why are these .php pages?

I definatly see the lack of visual structure that you talk about....but I cant say that I know what to do about it. Any ideas?

The reason that these are php pages is that I set up the mini site with a php template. eg:

template.php has functions that print the header and footer
all site pages require(template.php) and call header and footer print functions.

This may or may not be the best way of doing this but it works well for me. The primary reason for doing this is because it simplifies changing the site structure and individual pages.

and browse around - that might give you some ideas on how to give your site some structure... stuff like background color, borders and just some simple visual tools....

These are my suggestions: Background: 24311F leave the color you have for menu background, e.g., leave the menu "home","details" etc. as is except put the text on a bg (the color you currently have). Then, text like "Great Plains..." make FFBB5B
