Site Redesign/Review

well the site would look a thoudsand times better with a color make over. try some more uniform (matching) colors.
like in the sportsman page you have
nav bar light blue background dark and selected link red text with dark blue and the other text white. and then to go further the letters (links) under that are red and then mouseover green YUCK.

make a calendar for that page also. it will give the Calendar a actual calendar look instead of just events.

Tourneys page needs some formatting. the big blank space in the middle of the page looks bad.

photo page is good

fade is undefined error line 198
object expected 82 and on for that error
in the Interactive page. (not too interactive huh[lol])
you need to fix that because you get stuck in the page then without use of the links

links page can use some better formatting of the images as well. don't make them scroll so far down.

hope that helps out alittle

BTW great content [thumbsup2]

I did attempt a color makeover. I am not sure how well I like it thus far.

A calendar is a good idea. I didn't implement one since we usually only have two events per month.

I haven't had time to debug the (YABB) bulletin board error.
I will reformat the links page soon.

Hi,

In IE6, 1024*

Definitly a colour change. Go with something simple.
To be honest, that light blue is horrible. try maybe a light grey like #eeeeee or even white, especially for the content background.

I also use a tab type system on my site, I like the way you bring in the second row of links, one thing I would say though is to keep it consistent. the guestbook page needs to be done the same.

Keep the text consistent. You use a different font on Sportsmen page than on the Articles page.

The links page is a bit of a mess with images everywhere. I'd get this more ordered and neat.

U mention a YaBB board, I didnt see this anywhere. it's a good board though when you get all the bugs out.

The reason I went with blue is because it is a fishing site (blue-->water motif).

The guestbook page is inconsistent because it goes out to a freeware site--Lycos Guestbook.

Yep, links pages are a mess. I only got half through changing them last night.

I don't have any links to YaBB until I have time to debug it.

Thanks,
Mickey
