I have a Nortel Passport 2430 and need to configure a route. What are the commands needed to create a route where the destination IP? What site manager do you recommend I download?
Thanks,

Configuration is much easier with site manager rather than using the command line. To figure out the version you need check the release notes for the software you are using on the 2430.

If you still have the software cd it will have the correct site manager version.

If you want to configure a static route from the command line you need to enter the bcc and from the global prompt enter

static-route address <destination> mask <ip_mask> next-hop-address <next_hop>
