site.config.m4

Hi

I am installing sendmail.8.12.8 on solaris 8.

Everything seems ok, but after uncompressing the sendmail.tar.gz, i do not see any site.conf.m4 file in the devtools/Site directory or anywhere else.

How do i get this file?

You create one. This is where you put site specific configurations. For example the contents of our site.config.m4 is :

APPENDDEF(`confENVDEF', `-DTCPWRAPPERS')
APPENDDEF(`conf_sendmail_LIBS', `-lwrap')

This adds tcp-wrapper support.
And I think it needs to be called "site.config.m4", not "site.conf.m4"

Guys, I got through this sendmail installation:
I used instructions from

note that with solaris 8 you will need to use Berkeley DB 4.0.14.
