I am going to interconnect some NNCS1000 systems via IP trunks.

Until now I am not sure what protocol would be the best H323 or SIP.

I heard that Nortel has quit a lot open issues with SIP

What are the differences / advantages of SIP on the trunk side compared to H323 especially when the IP protocol is tunnelled with MCDN?

Any comparisons that help me to finish this task would be appreciated.

Actually Nortel doesn't support SIP trunks...!!! But you can buy such ISM licenses. Strange, no ??
