Hello all,
I will to configure SIP trunk between CM 5.2 throught SES and external SIP service provider. SIP service provider require authorisation for SIP session. Where i can insert that user name and password on SES configuration?
The SES can only communicate to a SIP trunk that is a 'trusted host'. Which means no authorization. So either you or your service provider will need to provide a Session Border Controller (SBC) to authenticate back to their system and to also provide a trusted connection to the SES. Look for application notes on SIP service providers on Avaya.com for examples.
The only SBC's that I know to work with Avaya are the Acme Packet and the Cisco Cube. But if you can find one that can do NAT traversal then it should work.
