I have a BCM 400 4.0 networked with a BCM 50 3.0 using SIP trunks and MCDN. When I call from the 400 to the 50 just the number is passed. When I call from the 50 to the 400 the display comes up with anonymous.

"Local authentication" is off on the 50 and "Send name display" is checked on both systems. The sets on both are programmed for caller ID.

Looking through the PDF docs but have not found anything referencing this problem. Any ideas?

Is the name of the business defined? Systems need to be named to pass call info. Telephony,Global SWettings,Feature Settings, Business Name.

That was it. I saw that referenced on a previous post for h323 trunks, so I started playing with it. I named the BCMs and Caller ID was passed in both directions.

FYI, I also opened a ticket with Nortel. They said that it was a know issue and that 2nd level was working on it. He sounded like it should work whether the BCM is named or not. If I get a resolution from Nortel I will post it up.

Thanks
Chuck
