Hi,

Got an IP500 running V10 with SIP trunks and 1608 handsets, when a call comes in there is no call control, hold/Park, transfer etc and the call drops after 30 seconds. If user calls out its fine, ive tried every combination of stun/no stun and every available parameter but still cant get it to work. The SIP trunks were previously fine then all of a sudden started doing this, Supplier insist nothings changed so has anyone any ideas?

Thanks

Sounds like something has changed. How about on the customers network any network changes your aware of?

Try doing a Monitor trace and it should show you where the problem is. Or at least where to start looking.

Having the very same issue with a client on R10. Worked fine for years and now calls keep dropping. Just curious, who is the provider? My client was originally with Birch SIP which worked fine for years. Now they have been bought out by Fusion (a while back) and now recently these issues have come up. No changes have been made on the IPO or their network in my case. If your issue is with Fusion as well I would venture to guess they are the problem.

Hi @suejoan This sounds like a problem with the SIP trunk provider. I use a few different providers and I'm on R9.1.12. On only 1 SIP line only with the one provider, this was happening. Unfortunately, they didn't actually tell me what the problem was they just fixed it. Wish I could give you more information as to what the cause was.

I would contact your SIP Trunk Provider. Good luck!

Thanks, Tim
