Mitel 3300 ICP: I have a problem where calls handed off/twinned to an external number in the PRG are getting one way audio, i.e. audio from the external hotdesked device cannot be heard, all on SIP trunks through the MBG. This is only happening on calls transfered from the EMEM. If I program a DID to the DN, no problems.

I've also tested conference calling and transfers, etc. and that all works without a hitch.

Thanks!

First I would verify that the signaling is correct, then the streaming.

For the signaling, what do the SIP offer/answers into/out of the MBG say?

And to be clear on the setup, you have an external HD device that connects via SIP to the MBG, that then talks via Minet to the 3300. (What is it with EMEM are you doing to get transferred?) The call then gets routed back out the MBG to another SIP trunk to an external number. Correct?

The external HD device is a cell and it receives its calls from a SIP trunk when the PRG is called. The one way audio only happens when the inbound call in question came from a transfer made from the EMEM auto attendant to the DN/PRG. If it came from a DID direct to the DN/PRG it works fine. Inbound and outbound are SIP trunks.

I'm having the traces looked at as well as the tug.log.

Thanks!

Ok, the difference being that in the EMEM case, the call is actually terminated on the 3300, then transferred to the cell phone. Is the inbound through SIP/MBG as well, or through PRI, direct SIP, IP trunk?

The inbound is SIP, the outbound is SIP. If I do a DID call to the DN and then "handoff" all works ok.

Problem solved by setting "Prevent the use of 0.0.0.0" in the SIP Peer Profile on the 3300. There was no MBG issue.
