Has anyone had any success installing SIP trunks on a BCM 400 R4.0? Customer just added a test trunk to there system before they switch over but I cant seem to get them up and running. I installed the keycode and rebooted the system and they have active SIP trunks so that is OK. They gave me passwords and user names but I dont even see a section where I can enter them. Any insight?

I have installed sip trunks on a 4.0 with MCDN to 50's hanging off it.
What do you need to know?

It's only dialtone-VZ

Actually these are SIP trunks to the PSTN. Basically these trunks require authentication and I do not see anywhere to enter the username, password, etc. Whenever I hit the trunks I setup, I cannot dial out and I get a busy when trying to dial in. I set them up on a SIP softphone and they worked fine so I know the problem is with my setup in the BCM

The Euros seem to have dealt with this already. From their conversations, I don't think the BCM50 3.0 is capable yet.

OK then. Can anyone suggest a provider that will work with the BCM line?

the BCM 400 4.0 does not support SIP authentication via username/password. the BCM 50 r3 and the BCM 450 have it. cant you just authenticate via IP instead?
