I know implementing SIP trunking can be painful and frustrating especially with beastly wee nusense stuff like no MOH passed thru etc.
I have the the following scenario: two sites (3300 CXi / MCD 4.2) connected via mpls (IP trunking / no compression).
Site-A (HQ) has all trunking services to support both sites: Outgoing SIP trunks (30 channels, codec G711)
and
Bri ISDN (5 trunks / 10 ccts) for indialing (DDI).
Site-A calls out SIP trunks and if reaches a busy number, gets busy signal straight up (normal condition).
Site-B calls a busy number through the SIP trunks on Site-A, caller gets two bursts of ring back tone before getting busy tine.....
Very vague in detail I know, and not a biggy, as stated a nusense factor more than anything else but the client would like to resolve if possible.
