SIP trunking ISP worked on 8 not on 9.0 UR 2

ive seen both wireshark traces on my calls

Works fine on 8.0.10.7

But my outbound proxy server was their address but i guess from 8 - 9 they have changed the whole sip stack and not needing to have a internal sip proxy server


ive seen this in my traces

from number@Internal IP NOT WORKING 9.0

but the working one was

From number@Their IP WORKING ONE 8.0

this was in the invite packet on the wireshark trace

but ive been looking all over for sip proxy/ Nat traversal tools but ran into nothing....

anyone :'( haha i had to revert back to 8.0 but yea very strange were getting good Invites but then the carrier sends a BASIC 400 bad request response something it doesnt like ....

400 Bad means that remote peer cannot parse the message.
There are major changes in rel.9 that affected the SIP stack. Try to play with SIP trunk settings. As an option try siproxd between mitel and your remote peer. It will rewrite SIP messages and strip all unneeded stuff.

i think ive tried that but i had NOOO idea on how it would work about 3 - 4 months ago i have also tried Teksip but the sucky thing is if we are going to sell this to customers and all this work just to get that eeeeek....


yea i talked to billy about all the sip enhancements with the new 9.0 sip stack that changed everything .....

hard to know now....

because i was seeing in the logs other IP addresses connect via the sip provder like mitel phones directly and not through the 3300 ....
