We have Configured the SIP Trunk between SIP Service Provider & AVAYA IP500. We are able to receive/make both incoming and outgoing calls.
When we make outgoing long distance calls we are not able to hear the ring back tone.

Kindly help
 
have you spoke with your sip provider?

Try setting the unit for RFC2833 or Inband under SIP Line. Also, for compression mode, set to G7.11 uLaw. That is the most common trip up I come across. If that does not solve the issue, Maxwell is spot on about contacting your provider. They should be able to tell you how to set your line. I hope that helps.
