Have had sip running on another provider for years and now am cutting to new provider. I cant see why there is no registering. when we dont require registration it works fine.

Those are just OPTIONS from the provider, seems IPO doesn't think it's registered.

But if you don't need to register the trunk why try?

Lol. Because I want to solve the issue. From the same carrier I have 2 other 9.1 systems registered fine. This is my office one and I need to get to the root of what I don't know.

Then it would make more sense to trace the actual registration.

Put the trunk out of service and in service again from SSA.

wel ther you go
the sip provider is refusing the registration, you need to ask them why

Have You got the correct credentials?

as you say it works without registration perhaps the provider has configured this one differently again the provider should be able to give additional assistance

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

as far as registration , I :

provide username and password at the sip credentials tab and ticked registration required.
have a URI - use internal data with unique in and out groups

does the ICR or sip in a user tab need to be completely setup for a basic register to take place? I thought no.

So "testuser" is your account at the provider?

Still, they are answering forbidden so they should be able to tell you why.
