Hi There

ipoffice 500v2 on 7.5

shortcode is
? dial . go to main (ars)

In ARS shortcode is

00N dial 00N"@sip.voipbuster.com" line 17

17 is the sip trunk and its showing as registered to the provider on system status. The calls in system status just do not show as hitting the sip line.

Any ideas?

Thanks Tom

delete the ? shortcode
make a new one
0N/N/Dial/50:Main

In ARS 50:Main add a shortcode
N;/N/dial/17

You can omit the "@sip.voipbuster.com" as from version 7 the ipo will add that part from the SIP trunks settings.

If this doesn't work then you might have another problem like:
No VCM channels
No SIP trunk licenses
Wrong outgoing line ID

observing in the monitor tool might shine a light on it, do not use SSA as it provides little to no info on such problems.

If it ain't dutch it ain't much

Bummer,

cant believe i forgot to check the vcm chanels. We bought a combo card especially for this. I have no doubt it will work manana.

Thanks All

You do not need VCM channels on system running on 6.0 or higher!!!
You need to check what outgoing line id is set on the trunk.
That line id is needed on the shortcode used in the ARS.

So to correct Intrigrant ( i like doing that :) )

delete the ? shortcode and add this:

0N
Dial
N
Line id 50

Then in ARS:

N;
Dial
N
Line id 0 (this is defualt and if you did not change it on the sip trunk then it is 0)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I don't have to be corrected as I mentioned:
You do need VCM channels but they are build in in the combocard which i din't know you use that,
I mentioned to use the correct outgoing line ID
AND you must have SIP trunk licenses

Please read carefully and THINK!

If it ain't dutch it ain't much

The combo card is not in the unit, it was bought as a hot spare. We have about 10 units in place with combo cards in, and never had any issues with sip. i had presumed it was that something had changed in 7. I will plug the combo card in tomorrow and change the short code, hopefully progress can be made.

Thanks Tom

In ARS 50:Main add a shortcode
N;/N/dial/17

This part is wrong darlin :)
It should have line id 0 and not 17

How are you, had a good holiday?

00N dial 00N"@sip.voipbuster.com" line 17

17 is the sip trunk and its showing as registered to the provider on system status. The calls in system status just do not show as hitting the sip line.
I assume he means line ID 17 and NOT lin number 17, if so then thats is his problem.

If it ain't dutch it ain't much
