I have a customer who has an IPO V2 R10.1 who we are interfacing with a Motorola CallWorks system. We have the the systems connected via SIP trunks and all is working. The CW system is a life safety system. There are occasions where they would like to take the CW system down for maintenance and have the IPO fail over to secondary site by means of a "302 Move Temporarily" reply. In our tests, system A sends the 302 message but the IPO replies back with an invite in endless loop. See BElow. I am looking for documentation or advice on how this can be set up.
Alternatively, I thought about setting an alternate trunk to second system and have calls fail when primary trunk is out of service. They said they can send alternate message over but not sure what message IPO would be looking for.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
