This past week our carrier did some upgrades their data centers. Since then, every morning when I come in our phones are unable to dial out or receive phone calls. To fix this, I usually just reboot the IP Office 500 V2 control unit. Then everything works ok. Problem is, I do not want to do this every morning. I also see in System Status that the trunk goes out of service around 9:30pm. This is the recent Status update and alarm I received.

I did a monitor report before rebooting the phone system and here is what it's telling me:

If you look at the Endpoints in registration it shows 0. I have 5 endpoints.

How do I fix my system to recognize those endpoints? Or is that something the phone carrier needs to fix?

I have tried setting the refresh session from On-Demand to 90 seconds. That didn't help.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You're barking up the wrong tree here....

If you look at the Endpoints in registration it shows 0. I have 5 endpoints.

It actually says 5 endpoints are registered and 0 are in the process of registering

But even that's irrelevant because endpoints are handsets and not SIP trunks :)

Maybe you should decrease the reregistration time to a lower time.
