STMIX module used to connect SIP trunk from service provider,

I usually used STMI4 cards and there was no any issue so far.

I have done many installation in OS4KV7 and all are successfully running fine.

in V8 and the gateway card used is STMIX ,the service provider able to ping but they are not receiving the handshaking signal

200 OK

Can any one please help me to resolve the issue

thanks

Dear Friends,

The problem resolved and the steps done as below.

1.Service Provider told that they are able to ping but no handshaking signals from gateway.
The base system was V8R2.22.0 and release upgraded to 22.9,
Service provider recived the hand shaking signal, incoming calls are working but no voice.
Uploaded a trunk profile in STMIX which is working in our country.
Incoming calls recived and voice path activated but no outgoing calls.
Tried in many ways the service provider told the calls are not hitting in to thier server.
Replaced the STMIX card with STMI4 card and loaded the trunk profile the same which we uploaded in STMIX card.
Now thanks god both incoming and out going calls are working fine.

Unify is distributing the systems without testing and after complaints from customers keep on making patches and HF's

STMIX works fine, and to suggest it can't support SIP CO is ridiculous. You either had some corruption in the DB, which is easily fixed with a factory default on the card, some ancient software which you needed to manually upgrade, although I've never seen any software so old that wouldn't support basic native SIP, or a config error. Latest software should be always be used, and STMIX needs both OS and loadware update, as it uses Linux OS which STMI4 does not. Latest loadware hotfix will either resolve an issue with some convoluted call scenario, or release new features. You can't tell from your post what software the card was using.

What you should have done is made a lan trace from the STMIX to determine exactly what is happening with a failed call. That's easy to do with STMIX because you can tcpdump from it. If it's working from STMI4 you can stream the signalling to Wireshark with rpcap and trace it working - then compare with STMIX.
