Hey guys,
I have a question about license handling.
Situation is that i have 24 SIP trunk channel licenses on primary server's WebLM. SIP trunks and phones (J169/179) are connected to primary server. SIP trunks connect to the carrier through ASBCE in HA. So no registration needed on IPO.
To have full redundancy I configured the same SIP trunks on secondary server, but...
I get an error message, that no licenses are allocated after setting up the SIP trunks. When I try to reserve licenses I get an error, that WebLM has no free licenses - because they are all allocated by the primary server.
So to be able to use secondary server for failover is it really necessary to have double the licenses? Even if the licenses on secondary will only be used in case that primary server fails and primary server doesn't need any license anymore?
Thanks in advance
IP Office remote service
Fixed price SIP trunk configuration
CLI based call blocking
SCN fallback over PSTN
