Hi,

We want to link our IPS 2000 (Firmware SC-3713) to an Asterisk system with SIP trunks.
We need to add a PN-8IPTA and PZ-24IPLA to get 32 SIP trunks.
If I check our enabled features and license I get this:

F87>170
170:VoWLAN(SIP) :A

F88>22
22:VoWLAN(SIP) :0000

Does command F88>22 really means we have to purchase 32 licenses for SIP trunk?
Has anybody succesfully linked an IPS 2000 to other pbx with SIP trunks?

This is how our setup looks like:

PRI ---> PBX 1 2000IPS ---> PBX 2 IVS ---> PBX 3 2000IPS ---> SIP trunk ---> Asterisk

The cards you listed are IPPAD cards. 32 gives you a total of 32 simultaneous IP voice connections. You do not necessarily need 32 SIP TK licenses. It depends on your usage and application. You will still need some. That license should match the number of SIP TKs you order from your provider.

Hum.. I though the IPPAD card was a PN-8IPLA and the one I mentioned is NEC PN-8IPTA. I have to admit the card name looks the same except for the T.

Basically I want to be able to dial extensions from the NEC to the Asterisk and the other way around.
Can it be done with IPPAD card?

PN-8IPTA SIP 8 channel SIP Trunk Card
When mounting 24DSP (PZ-24IPLA) card, this card provides up
to 32-channel of SIP
You should have version 3600 software in the system. It will work with a lower level, but 3600 adds options.
CMD F88>ff03> look for L
L=3600.

You will still need licenses.

It gives me P1?

F85>FF03:p1

The card is over $2000 for a used one,I hope it will work well.

P1 is 3900, the last version released in the IPS system, and yes that card is very expensive. It also runs warm/hot, so make sure that your switch room has plenty of AC. Most techs leave the covers off of the PIMs to aid in air flow.
