Sip trunk issue on ipecs300 5.5

Hi

We have an IPECS300 with 5.5 software and have no voice on our sip trunks. They are provided by voiceflex and we would welcome any advice to rectify the problem.

We can make and recieve calls but have no voice traffic at all. In the past this has been a port issue on the routers but we have had IT guys check and double check the ports. We've had voiceflex double check too but we still have the same problem.

Were scratching our heads now and everyone is blaming everyone and we just want to get it working and so does our customer!

We finally got to the bottom of it Wednesday this week.

It was a mixture of things. Ports forwarded and software.

We had 10 sip trunks being supplied and we used 6 off the MFIM300 and 4 from a VOIM8 module.

Because we had them split we had to request 2 public ip addresses and port forward different ranges from each public ip address to each module. I cant remember them off the top of my head but I will reply again on Monday with the correct ports. In PGM 132(seq 1-MFIM) we saved one public ip address and for (seq 7-VOIM8) we saved the second public ip address. The VOim8 software was version 4.0dd i think. This was quite old so we upgraded it(2min job) and finally got 2way voice on the sip trunks. So F'in happy you wouldnt believe.

There was a couple of other settings that was tweeked too. The setting of the lines to be COMMON(CO Attributes) and the timer in pgm 133 reduced from 3600 to 600. I dont know if these changes made a difference but its worth noting.

I will do my best to reply with the correct porting procedures next week.
