Hello!

I am having a problem with a SIP trunk on NS500 Panasonic.
I can register, make and receive calls for quite some time.

But after some minutes, I stop receiving calls from the SIP trunk.
On wireshark, I can see the calls entering the NS500, but it doesn't ring on the phone, or it doesn't get answered by the DISA.

Something odd that I noticed: While receiving a call that dont get answered, I pickup an extension and make an outgoing call through SIP trunk. The Incoming Call suddenly get answered by the DISA. It happens everytime.

Can someone give some light on this issue? I've been trying to solve this for weeks.

Thank you all!

Sounds like you don’t have port 5060( if that is the port used) forwarded to the phone system. It should also be locked to the sip provider ip.

If you haven’t access to the firewall, you could reduce the registration timer to 180 or lower to keep the port open to the sip provider
