Hi,

I would like to know if this is possible:

Given = 20 Sip trunk channels
Authentication = IP
Box = IP Office 500 Release 7.0(12)

What we would like to do is:

Dedicate the 10 Sip Channels (10 Different DID's) to group #1 and 10 Sip Channels (also 10 Different DID's) to group #2.

Once the 10 Sip Channels are consumed/used for a particular group, there's no way for the call to get into that group.

TIA.

Sip licence is consumed per call, so You could have 100 DID programed! If no one is on the Phone, 0 Sip licence will be consumed, if three People are on a call then 3 Sip licences will be consumed. Incomming call(s) also consume SIP licence.

Also, upgrade to 7.0(36)

You can assign different incoming group IDs to the URIs that way you can have say seperate LG ID XX x 10 for your DDIs and assign the call that way.

@AndrePa

Thanks for that, 7.0(12) is aint broke to what we need asides from this query, if (36) will have the benefit of my query I will.

@HSM

That's come into my mind, but are you sure that the 11th (eleventh) call for LG ID XX won't accept the inbound call for that group? your help is really appreciated.

-Thanks.
