SIP Trunk-caller ID

Hi,
just had a SIP LD trunk installed and the only way i can get caller id to show is apply it on the truck under Outbound calls/Caller ID DN. if i apply it on the LD route pattern it will not show.
with several different locations that will be moving over the calling out caller id needs to show correctly.
Any ideas?

the fix was to use the mask on the route list instead of the route pattern as you would in MGCP.
but the strange thing was, i had to do a 100% tear down/rebuild of the sip trunk.
