If the customer calls a specific local phone number and the external party put the call on hold the call is dropped and the call is put on hold in the IPO. You will see "Held" on the display of the 5400 series phone. The IPO is release 8.0(16) with CenturyLink SIP trunks coming from an Adtran. CenturyLink says the issue is with the IPO responding to the external phone system.
I made several test calls and tried different settings that I found on Devconnect for CenturyLink SIP trunks. They did not help nor affect incoming or out going calls. I ran monitor logs while making the test calls but do not know exactly what to look for that might be causing the issue. I also called tech support with our distributor and they had never heard of such an issue.
Any good help would be appreciated.
If your not going to it right don't bother doing it at all!
