Avaya IP Office 9.0.12.0. I am having some trouble with my SIP setup. I can get incoming calls just fine on my sip line. Although I am having some trouble with outbound calling. I have ran a monitor trace but I am not great with reading it. I am getting a 403 Forbidden response for something. Here is the trace that I have.

I have the shortcode set up as 6N;/Dial/N'@hostname". I don't have it going to an ARS table at the moment just have it going directly to Outgoing Group ID 21.

I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

You're sending the extension in the From header, it should be a valid DDI.
That probably why you get forbidden.

"Trying is the first step to failure..." - Homer

Indeed, the trunk provider will probably be expecting 0123456789@11.22.33.44 not 3016@11.22.33.44 as you're sending and/or they may want you to send the external IP for site and not the internal address, if so you'll need the network topology section setting up or a functioning SIP ALG on your router (they're usually crap) or an SBC.

You could always ask them why they're rejecting :)
