A customer has a R3 BCM50 and we are looking to provide hosted IP or SIP trunks to replace the ISDN2s. As we cannot provide SIP even if we upgrade him to R6, I am looking to supply a SIP to BRI gateway. Does anyone have experience with Mediatrix, Patten or Sangoma gateways, who would be willing to share a config file or attend site with me? (UK based)

Try Quintum BX range. I've used them quite a bit. Not for BCM, but worked well for me with other systems.

Why can't you use direct SIP trunks ?

We've programmed SIP trunks but cannot get them to work, and Avaya/Nortel just come back with the excuse that Gradwell aren't supported on the BCM50. I am also willing to pay someone to log on to my BCM50 either via ISDN2 or Logmein to program the trunks correctly, as I suspect we may not have the config 100%. I have gaps in my knowledge, but at present no resource to sort it out
