Does anybody know any Nortel compatible SIP softphone?

3tdp33ler,

on other post I recommended SJPhone. I cannot guarantize if it's SIP compatible, but I tested as H323 against Nortel Meridian ITG Trunk and worked fine.

Regards,
Julián.

I've tested SJPnone, it works fine as ?323 endpoint.
But I have no success connecting it using SIP.

FYI SIP phones are not supported by Nortel at this point.

I was only able to get a SIP phone to work one way.
SIP to IP set not the other way

It's only dialtone-VZ

I would love to know if anyone out there was able to get a sip end point to work.

It's only dialtone-VZ

Thanks for YI, vztech, but I don't think so.
The NTP 553-3001-213 (IP Peer Networking) states SIP phones are supported, even more it explaines how to install them.

Best regards

These were Nortels words directly to me Sip trunking is supported but not SIP phones. (back in November sometime)

I agree with vztech, Nortel stated that at this time SIP phones are not supported, but soon will be!
