We are on Server Edition planning to move from PRI to SIP. Maybe its my GoogleFu but I am having trouble finding anything online in regard to people sharing their experience with using non-Avaya SBCs with IPO. Is there anyone here setup this way or are you all using Avaya SBCs for SIP?

Any carrier recommendations (located in Midwest USA)?

Thanks Much,

For Carrier I would recommend Intelepeer. For non Avaya SBC's we are currently experimenting with a Sonus unit. From the initial tests it is much easier to setup than the Avaya one. The Licencing is very cheap I think about £70 for 100 concurrent connections and best of all it only requires a clean and a dirty network there is no need for a separate management interface. The support has also been excellent so far.
