Talking with Broadvox about a new customer and getting there sip service set up. I stated that the customer has a brand new Sonicwall TZ205 and the Broadvox tech said it is one of the hardest routers to use with sip. He stated they should go with another brand (Cisco, Netgear, Etc) as it will be easier to set up. This just doesn't seem right to me. Granted, Ive only set up a hand full of sip trunks and none of them have been on Sonicwalls. Is Sonicwall that hard to set up? Is there a preferred router to use with sip?
Thanks
