Hi all,
I am back again to raid the depth of knowledge that is Tek-Tips.
I would like to know if it is possible to have a IDC table on an incoming SIP route, the reason for this is that we use DNIS to present the name of our stores for a divert project. We are looking at using a VOIP provider to bring these calls in. Once we do this there is a good chance that the VOIP provider will not be able to pass it in the form of caller ID. We will need to use an IDC table to allow us to name the extensions within DNIS and then present the name of the incoming store on the agents phone screen.
Is this possible or am I barking up the wrong tree and there is a much easier solution that I have overlooked.
Thanks in advance.
Adam
