SIP response 401 Unauthorized - Voipbuster and IPO 500v1 R6

Dear All,

I am a newbie on Avaya IPO. I'm trying to make voipbuster SIP line work (outbound only for now) but cannot.
Keep getting 401 error as response to Register.
X-Lite works fine. SIP Account has credit and username/password is the same as x-lite.

Can anyone help?

What does system status say about the trunk? Also what happens when you try and dial out?
 
You have a 401 unauthorized so it looks like you have the wrong credentials.

honey, i fried the IP Office !!!

 
SSA shows trunk as Out of service.
I have set exactly the same creadentials as in x-lite.
Not sure if IPO is sending password properly.

i know voipbuster and voipcheap are the same service and it seems to work ok on ours

its the same login credentials as you would use on their web site to top up credit.....for voipcheap(uk) anyway.

make sure you have the correct ports open on your firewall / router as well....
 
Today morning we had the system working (dialing out calls).
Our belief is that somehow a softphone (voipbuster or X-lite) was logged in to the service and preventing IPO to register, hence the 401. The odd thing is that x-lite did not behave like that, logging out voipbuster immediatly.
