SIP Proxy on an Edge Router.

Posting it in this forum too in case some VoIP experts are in the house...


Currently our SIP trunk from our PSTN provider terminates directly on the 3845.

We want to move the termination so it points directly on our edge router (a cisco 3845) which then redirects or proxys the SIP calls to the call manager from the PSTN.

Can someone point in the general direction on how that is setup (specifically on the 3845 IOS).

I assume i just create a trunk on the call manager to term to the 3845.
