SIP Private Tab when using SIP carrier BCM 6.0

I see a lot of helpful sip guides but for 3.0 or 5.0 and Proxy settings mentioned which on 5.0 or under are under TelResources/IPtrunks/Proxy tab.
On 6.0 there is no longer any settings under TelResources/IPtrunks as they are now under IPTrunk/SIPtrunking/Private.

Question is can I ignore this tab all together when trying to get SIP trunking going with a public carrier?

I thought this was an easy question and felt in the mood to give somebody a star while I was trying to narrow down my issues (since resolved same day).
