Hi

Description needs:
SIP Phone in warehouse with loud analog bell.

Solution tried NUMBER 1:
Sip Extension 51234
Analog extension 55678 with line appearence set to brdg-appr ext:51234 in page four.
IT'S NOT WORKING AT ALL.

Solution NUMBER 2:
Buy SIP ATA FXS/FXO and bridge the principal extension.
NOT FEASIBLE! for now. Too many device to change and configure. Clock is running against US.. Too much delay to order...etc...

Solution NUMBER 3:
Virtual extension set with the user extension 51234 with COV Path xx
COV Path xx Step#1 set to cov answer group xx
Cov ans with a new extension 55555 and the analog bell 55678
WORK FINE BUT.. When the user ext 55555 dial others ext, the caller ID is 55555. So when called user call back they dial 55555 and not 51234 and the bell don't ring.
I need to find a solution to make the setup transparent with actual bells devices.

Hoping other suggestions

Thanks

Mike

in dialplan parameters, are you udp before ext, or ext before udp?
If UDP first, just translate 55555 to 51234. People will see 55555, but when they call it, CM will send it to 51234

Analog bridging for SIP phones is not supported feature yet as what we've been told a year agon when we had the same issue, unless it is being address in the latest release 7.
