SIP Phone

Hey guys,
Wondering if someone could help me out on this. We have a Mitell 3300 MXe running 7.1.45. There has been some talk around the office about a SIP softphone and now everyone is pressing for me to get it working. We are not using SIP right now so Im not sure where to start. I see in the All Forms section of the Mitel there is a form labled Sip Peer Profile. Can someone post an example of thier config of this form. I keep getting a "value out of bounds" error message when I try to save data to the form. Its not really showing where I am going wrong.

You need a SIP user license for each user / device. This is purchasable from your Mitel dealer.

Actually I called Mitel Support....Great Support as usual. I found out that the sip peer profile form only needs to be configured for sip trunking. If you are just trying to use a generic sip phone, then you specify it in Multiline Ip Set config.

As an update, I still cannot get the phone to register. Has anyone ever used the IS Phone by iscoord.com. This phone has lotus notes integration which is the reason for its use. I would definately be open to any other product suggestions.

I went to download.com and found the xlite phone and had it working without any issues.
