Howdy,

Running CM 5.2

We have SIP Trunks, SIP licenses and a SIP PIM Server, but no System Manager.
One of our departments wants to use a generic phone that apparently is officially certified on 6.3.
The phone is as basic barebones SIP as you can get.

Is there anyway to make it work in CM on our ISDN trunks?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks!

Hi Bondo - this combination is not supported, but it has nothing to do with your ISDN trunks. You can still have SIP phones but no SIP trunks.

You will absolutely need to get to a newer version of CM and get a Session Manager running or this option won't even be worth exploring.

Stick with H323 for now if you want IP phones.
