R11.0.4 IP500V2 Essential Edition. This is a service company and after hours there number forwards to an answering service. Normal calls go to a hunt group and I have a time profile set up to send the calls to a user that forwards and all this works perfectly. But occasionally if they leave early and set the hunt group (8900) to out of service, which targets a sequential hunt group with the same user in it. Even though I have the outbound number set in the hunt group, when I watch system status, it keeps trying to send out the number 8900@sipprovider...

SIP call details are set up for outbound as Use Internal Data for Local URI and contact under display and content and Caller, Caller, Called for both under Outgoing calls, forwarding/twinning and incoming calls. nothing else is checked. I have redirect and transfer set as NEVER for both REFER settings and I've tried checking caller ID from From header under SIP Advanced.

Any ideas?

Change the call details forward/twining to "original caller

Often you have to have the SIP provider enable forward originator number on the trunk it usually is not enabled by default.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

I just got this working on Friday for a customer.
Go to your sip line, Edit, Advanced, Call Details, Edit.
Change the Forward/Twinning to Explicit, and make sure Display and Content are set to Use Internal Data.

This worked for me.
