Has anybody ran into this problem of sending a notify message to a CS1k via NRS "not session manager".
It returns a 404 message unassigned number, I can dial through the voice mail to a extension i am trying to light the MWI.
DCH messages not available because the MWI gets rejected before the callserver sees the invite.

This voicemail is ESNA

All patches are up to date
All node information is correct as far as the Microsoft Unified Messaging area, I verified with the ESNA engineer.

Any input would be greatly appreciated...

NOTIFY sip:3503@172.25.4.12;transport=tcp SIP/2.0

SIP/2.0 404 Not Found
Cause: 1(0x1)[Unallocated (unassigned) number]

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but what you are trying to do is not supported with NRS, only Session Manager.

I have the same problem. ESNA knew we were moving to 7.6 but never informed us that the MWI required Session Manager. Anyone know if it would be possible to use an 8 port digital media gateway for the SIP and leave the messaging, which is working fine, on the SIP to SIP trunks? Only other alternative is to use a media gateway for all the traffic to the ESNA software.

Thanks,
CWK
