Hello,

I would like to connect a POLYCOM IP7000 or CISCO 7937G to an analog port (ATA, adapter) on a 3COM phone system. I have searched for an adapter and discussed re-engineering a ANALOG-TO-SIP adapter (cisco/linksys 3102) but thought I would ask on this board if anyone has done it or knows an adapter.

SUMMARY: Im looking to connect a SIP or skinny phone to an ANALOG PORT..

Thanks for any assistance.

SIP or skinny can't be directly connected to a analog port.

But I presume that the 3com is a IP based phone system. If so it will be likely that there is a possibility to connect sip phones. So in that case you should be able to connect the polycom direct to it.
