A bit of a strange one for me, it's just me messing about in my lab, but basically I've got 3300 4.2 with analog and sip trunks which all work ok. I've created a Sip extn on the 3300 which is then configured on a Mitel 3000 (that is correct, a 3000! sometimes known as a Versatility or an Intertel Commander) as a sip trunk. I can dial from the 3000 to any internal extn on the 3300 and I can also dial out over the 3300's sip trunks from the 3000. But, if I try and dial out over an an analog trunk on the 3300 from the 3000 I get a second of ringing tone, then re-order tone. However, the 3300 still makes the call which when answered is silent and the 3300 still continues giving re-order tone to the Sip extn. I guess it may some kind of DSP issue / codec? I can make the 3000 g711 or g729. I've tried forcing both it it made no difference. It's no big issue as I'm only trying it out for possible future use.
