Hi, MiVB is 9.1 and SIP Dect is 8.1

I am unable to make conferences with 612 DECT Phones.

I have set Server type to External, and URL to the MiVB IP Address. This is in the OMP configuration Configuration -> System -> SIP. Also I have added FAC *7 into System Feature -> Feature Access codes. Also that same FAC is on the MiVB.

How should I operate the handsets to establish the conference, maybe this is where my problem is.

any idea?

cheers,

daniel

I don't know how the SIP devices are provisioned but has the SIP device on the MiVB under 'users and devices' / 'keys' got a second line configured? Multicall appearance of the prime line.

The device will need this to allow transfers and conferencing.

I agree , 2nd multicall key of itself set to ring is the 1st step

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

it is now working for me, from: Configure MiVB 7.2 for use with the Mitel SIP-DECT Phones
OCTOBER 2015 SIP COE 14-4940-00309

Using the Mitel SIP DECT handsets as a conferencing host can be achieved by performing following steps:
External - Blind Transfer: an external conference server is used, e.g. MiVoice Business. The initiation of the conference will be signalized as blind transfer to a destination given by URL parameter configured in SIP-Dect OMP.
Note: URL parameter should match the Feature Access Code on MiVB side for Conference Call in the Feature Access Code Form.
