SIP config advise needed

I need help configuring an SIP gateway on a Nortel CS1000.It is a SIP device that gives you analog ports. I can get it to register, but cant make calls route through it. Nortel suggests using this device with their system, but does not seem to have any suggested configuration documentation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
