I'm struggling to get the MCUx working with MBG (I have also tried X-Lite and get the same results).

I have created a generic SIP user and it works fine on the LAN. I have enabled the SIP connector on the MBG and created a SIP device. I constantly get time out errors - code 408. THE MBG is in DMZ mode.

I can see the SIP traffic passing through our Juniper firewall to the MBG and I then see traffic on port 20001 from the MBG to the MCD. Its then that it times out.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated

Thanks

John

Hi Johny,

I have it working on the DMZ of my firewall as well, and it works fine for both Minet and SIP clients.

Let me ask you a couple of questions:

1. Are you on the latest version of MBG?
2. Does it work for your Minet phones?
3. What is your firewall doing with port 5060 UDP (From WAN port to DMZ)?
4. Does your firewall do any SIP helper? If yes disable it?

Regards,

Daniel
