Hi
I want to create sip client for sip calling what command i need to execute.i dont know anything about h4000 command.is there any software like Alex in Ericsson MD110 for H4000

You need an STMI card
Also it has to be setup for SIP extensions
Then you can add the SIP extensions

What is the Part Number of the SIP card you have

I have used the Jitsi software (free - opensource) with success on the 4000, assuming you have the above configuration done on your system.

I also use the Openscape Personal V7 softphone client, which also can do both SIP or HFA. That one costs about $100 a seat.

Dear Sbcsu,
could you please elobrate how to configure sip extension in hipath 4000 v 6.0,HFA soft phones are working fine.
Is there any thing we have to change in BFDAT,and is single stmi module pens can be used for SIP and HFA.

Thanks

What is the Part Number of the SIP card you have

the system has STMI4 card and part # is Q2324-X500
which already configured with ACWIN IP2 + Openscape soft client + IP phones.
we have another three card in the system which were configured with ITSP and HFA phones.
Thanks

If you have already a configured card with ACWin/Operator and HFA IP Phones working
Then you have to delete all that config and start again.

Do you have another blank card to use just for SIP extensions or do you want me to give you assistance with the existing card

Hi,
Example below uses STMI4
STMI2 can also be used

SIP extensions will not work
unless you put in the following command:
CHANGE-ZAND:OPTLOAD;

You need to do the following so:

REG-SBCSU;
REG-ACSU;

REG anything else relevant like SDAT, ZIEL, PERSI, ACTDA and all parameters that are relevant to the Operator and HFA IP Extensions that you have added to the card.
If you can do an EXE-UPDAT BP and A1 then do a full REGEN so as you have a copy of all the system before changes are to be made.

Then delete everything off the card.
DEL-SBCSU:
DEL-ACSU:
and have the card empty.
Delete the card - easiest way is to REG the card then change the returned string from ADD to DEL
hit enter twice and the card should delete.
If the card does not delete then there is still 'stuff' on it and that has to be deleted first before you can remove the card.

The BFDAT Decides what the card can do.
So make a new BFDAT with the following in it:

ADD-BFDAT:18,SIP&HG3530,BCHL60&BCHL120,;
CHANGE-BFDAT:CONT,18,SIP,30,,1;
CHANGE-BFDAT:CONT,18,HG3530,120,,30;
CHANGE-BFDAT:OK,18,YES;

BFDAT 18 is used here, if 18 is already in your config then try and delete it (it will not affect any extensions/trunks)
DEL-BFDAT:18;
YES

If it does not delete then use 19 or 20 etc.
Just in the ADD-BCSU you have to specify the BFDAT also.

Then add the STMI4 with BFDAT 18 in it - Using 1-2-9 PEN as example
ADD-BCSU:IPGW,1,2,9,"Q2324-X500",1,"0",18,,30,1,,,,0,IPV4,NO,NO;

Add the CGWB
