SIP CLI/Poltys APP

Hi all

Looking at the poltys app server is there an install guide somewhere? assuming it just a sip client but dont no what RTP ports will need directed and opened via firewall. is the server necessary cant we just download an app and open ports etc?

Changing the outgoing CLI when using sip trunks, is this still done on ISDN CLIP tab of extension no other configuration needed as long as network enabled ?

If on the NS700 it is using the media relay to go externally from the network. it using on wifi on the same subnet no ports needed

If using externally you need to do port translations and secure passwords to keep out the hackers

Can you have a look at the below screen shot, should the user name be changed to CLIP to send different outgoing numbers?

That is a sip trunk card setting, not extension. what are you trying to achieve. sip extension or trunk(line to system)

I know, all i want to know is what is the best way to set flexible outgoing CLI. I want different extensions to be able to send different numbers. Does the Line setting have to change to do this as i am thinking it will send main Base number associated with the SIP account?

Yes it will if your sip provider will accept the phone number as authorization
