Howdy,

I've a newbie when it comes with CCIS and the 9100's. I have 2 sites with SIP trunks from the same carrier, on an SV9100, and now they want to extension dial between them. I come from the TDM world where I typically order a point to point circuit. Can someone give me some info on how to go about this connectivity through SIP and/or the internet? I'm not looking for high level info, as I have config guides. I'm more looking at the general options for connectivity before I go digging. Cox is the current SIP provider, but they do not provide SIP trunks for this functionality (they say).

Thank you

You can use CCIS or Netlink. Probably better if you use CCIS over IP. It requires they have a VPN or some type setup. Netlink would be more if you needed it to act like one big system and call center. Takes a MUCH more robust network though.

CCIS over IP sounds the way to go. No single failover system needed.
