SIP and Nokia E51

Has anyone managed to get a Nokia E51 default SIP client to work with 3300 release 9?

got it working on E65 but the E51 registers but when you dial the SIP extension it doesn't ring or trying to dial from the mobile phone also doesn't work.

Did you try a firmware upgrade ?
I did several different nokia's but some did work after an upgrade

I had succesfully done a E90,E61i (mind the i !!!) and an N80

nope no upgrade. he was told it will work as is.
I'll have to try and convince him to upgrade his firmware

I could be very possible that it needs to be an E51i instead of E51
This is also the case for the E61, it needs to be an E61i
The E61 did not work well

crap! is there any docs out there confirming compatiblity. I know there's a doc for the mobile extension client but haven't seen the SIP version for that

I only have a doc with how to setup this with a E90

I think it's the same doc I used to set up E65 and E51. E65 works fine just not E51. The interfaces are 100% identical

Some of the Nokia's are running S60 3rd Edition OS 9.1
The E51 is running S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 OS 9.2
So that could be the problem.

that is my next step.
